I Rise Above This Wasteland-Nadia Anwar

Archived, I put myself aside
Turned soil
And gave in to them
My body to spoil.
The visible darkness syncing with the mossy earth
Unruffled…sighed.
Wonder struck,
My soul woke up
Thinking, I have lost the fight,
To these lusty mites
Ha, the nature smiled
Looked into its eyes
Hushed its cries
And said:
Unchained, unmaimed, you reign
Their efforts are in vain.
Immaculate you stand
To rise above
This Wasteland.
