An unbiased review of Arcade1Up’s Marvel Super Heroes Arcade Cabinet

We recently received an arcade cabinet from Arcade1Up featuring a few Marvel games designed by Capcom. We thought of revisiting the cabinet. The first review was done during the Christmas season of 2019. We had only a few minutes to play around with the cabinet prior the holidays and were overwhelmed with a myriad of products to test. Therefore, this time we wanted to take our time to explore the cabinet some more. Because , why not? This is Marvel and Capcom in an arcade decorations – mintax.kz, case. Let’s have a blast with it as we imagine we were at arcades right now. The main title of this unit is the Marvel Super Heroes Arcade Cabinet. It was designed to look as close to the original as it is possible. The lower part of the cabinet is a display of every game except for obvious branding by the company. As with other cabinets from the company, this cabinet is 4 feet tall, with an LCD screen and small sound system. The main difference between the original to this model is that the controls don’t sit placed at an angle, but are totally flat. The speakers, although at their original positions, have been changed for A1U because they’re in the marquee rather than beneath the monitor. The unit was shipped to us as an entire piece. It took about 30 minutes to build. Also, we received directions and a 1 foot riser to make it five feet taller to ensure that we don’t have to be seated on top of it when playing. The arcade games in the cabinet comprise X-Men Children Of The Atom (1994), Marvel Super Heroes (1995) as well as The Punisher (1993). The most important thing that ties the three titles is that they’re suitable for just one player that is a huge difference considering that many of Marvel’s non-fighting games were either single-player or included the option of a four-player game. Marvel Super Heroes is among the top fighting games that came out in the 1990s prior to the time that Capcom began mixing their peanut butter with Marvel’s chocolate. You could play as several characters of the Marvel universe for the first time in a combat game. The game features a few of characters trying to prevent Thanos from acquiring the Infinity Stones, like you always do, with each individual character having their own story. It’s still extremely popular and could prove very challenging for those who’ve never played. X-Men Children Of The Atom A fighting game similar to Alien Vs. However, it hasn’t received the same recognition it deserves. Street Fighter II: Turbo and Predator were released that year. This is unfortunate since this game is focused on the “Fatal Attractions” storyline in the comics. It was released the year before in X-Men’s 30th anniversary. This is a great note that games don’t usually tie themselves to other media such as this. The Punisher is the final game on the list , and is probably the most bizarre. This side-scrolling game allows you to play as Nick Fury or The Punisher. You are Punisher and must lead a group men to locate your family’s killers, and finally , the Kingpin. You can also be Fury who is looking for leads to track down Punisher to get him out of the way, but in the end, you become involved in helping him get rid of Kingpin. Both of them use the same tactics, however they use two distinct specialties, and you’ll end up in the same final stage of the plotbut with different tales to get you there. The game did not do well in arcades when it launched however it has since gained an avid fan base of those fascinated by collecting the original cabinets. We felt that the Marvel Super Heroes Arcade Cabinet was a great design. It contains three distinct games that, while they might appear similar but each has their own unique feel and have a wide range of properties. This arcade game is a excellent piece of nostalgic fun, particularly for Marvel fans. We think it was a missed opportunity. Would it be better to create an arcade game cabinet? or, at a most, X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter. A majority of A1U cabinets have four games, however this one comes with only three games, and the storage capacity of these three games isn’t huge. In reality, we’ve seen hackers hacking these cabinets to load whole libraries onto them. There was a cut, or was not approved on time. This is a big regret as it could have been perfect had there been one additional. This doesn’t detract from the nostalgia of the three that are already in place. The cabinet retails at $400 on the website of the company and at retailers such as FYE as well as Walmart.
