MY NUBIAN PRINCESS-AD Ibrahim

How tan is she!

kissed by warmth

of the sun’s rays

skin dripping melanin

Her hips invites you

Her kinky hair a golden

crown of mother earth

Her skin tone a badge of honor

Her lips sweeter than red wine

Her obsidian skin

softer than fur

a beam to African

Kings and heroes

A microcosm of the universe

hips swaying in self love

as she dances to the afro drum of life.
